J.NAVIN - Director's Showreel

Navin is a well known advertising film director, creative director and has won many awards including Best Director. He has directed and produced many notable TV commercials for multinational brands such as Coca Cola Nepal, Nestle Everyday, Brooke Bond Red Label, Lifebuoy and Bajaj Pulsar.

His journey in advertising filmmaking began with directing for brands such as 2PM Noodles, Chocofun, Fair & Lovely; these were groundbreaking TV commercial in Nepal in early years of 2000s. 'Ukali Orali Haruma' for Bajaj Pulsar and 'Gorkha National Anthem' for Gorkha Brewery are excellent examples of another recent innovative advertising film (brand anthem videos) directed by him.

Apart from directing brand films, he has also produced many corporate and animation videos for clients such as CNI, Vishal Group, WWF Nepal, UNICEF Nepal and TROSA.

In addition to filmmaking, Navin co-founded Integrated Creative Services in short (INCS). Driven by artistic and design thinking, INCS is known for providing comprehensive creative solution for brand such as QFX cinemas.

Prior to directing an advertising film independently, he worked as a creative director at JWT Nepal and MaxPro Creative Agency, which he co-founded. During his time at JWT and MaxPro, he designed and produced numerous ad films, commercials and social campaigns for agency clients such as Unilever Nepal, Surya Nepal, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, 2PM Noodles, Unicef Nepal and FHI.

Growing up in an artistic environment, Navin studied applied arts, design and advertising/graphic communication at the Sir J J Institute of Applied Arts University of Mumbai, where he was an award-winning student.

He has also undergone special training in advertising film production and advance brand communication in India. In addition, as an industry professional, he regularly contributes to Kathmandu's educational institutions and the visual arts community
